Chess for Unity has held the 3rd Saturday Tournament 30 times since 2020! Fifty to over one hundred young players have attended the tournament monthly. Since its debut, over 700 young chess players have played the 3rd Saturday Tournament. We greatly value those young chess players’ commitment and passion for the game. What makes us prouder of them is the integrity and honesty they demonstrated in the tournaments. Because the tournament is online, though we set up rigorous requirements to ensure no cheating, one may fall through the cracks. However, the participant players rarely broke the rules. They played honest, fair games against each other.

We are delighted to publish the list of the Top Three Players in each monthly tournament in Fall 2023. We will also select interesting puzzles from the tournaments to share in the monthly Chess for Unity Newsletters.
