Chess for Unity has been collaborating with Chess in the Schools since September 2021. We are very honored to teach weekly free lessons to the students from Chess in the Schools.

Communities

C4U members are actively involved in their communities. --FM Arthur Xu and FM Erick Zhao taught free lessons and organized practice meetings in their local libraries.

The 3rd Saturday Free Online Tournament is open to all levels of scholastic players worldwide. Each month, the tournament has attracted 50 to over 100 players to attend since 2020.

More than 1,000 young chess players have participated in the tournaments and events organized by Chess for Unity since 2020. They are from more than 36 U.S. states and foreign countries.

 

On average, about 80 players have attended the 3rd Saturday Free Online Chess Tournament each month, which means the tournament has received more than 2700 entries!
