The 3rd Saturday Free Online Tournament is open to all levels of scholastic players worldwide. Each month, the tournament attracts 50 to over 100 players. Nearly 900 young players have participated in the monthly tournaments since 2020.

More than 1,000 young chess players have participated in the tournaments and events organized by Chess for Unity since 2020. They are from more than 36 U.S. states and foreign countries.
On average, about 80 players have attended the 3rd Saturday Free Online Chess Tournament each month, which means the tournament has received more than 2700 entries!
